1. Agreement
By creating a shop, signing in, or using the Qellon apps you agree to these terms. If you use Qellon for a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Qellon is a cloud point-of-sale platform for retailers. It includes web tills, stock, invoices, staff access, reports, and optional mobile apps. Features depend on your plan. We may add, change, or retire features with notice when the change is material.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate shop and owner details.
- Keep passwords, PINs, and verification codes confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Staff you invite act on your behalf. Remove access when someone leaves the shop.
- We may suspend accounts that look compromised, abusive, or unpaid after the trial or subscription ends.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed through Paystack (card or mobile money). Prices, currencies, and trial length are shown at checkout. Taxes on our fees may apply. Failed payments can pause the shop until the invoice is settled. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires a refund or we agree in writing.
5. Your shop data
You own the products, sales, customers, and files you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data so we can run Qellon for you. You are responsible for backups you need beyond the tools we provide, and for the lawfulness of the customer data you store.
6. Tax and compliance
Tax presets (including Ghana statutory levies or VAT Flat Rate) are tools to help you record sales. They are not legal, tax, or GRA advice. You remain responsible for filing and paying taxes to the correct authority.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Qellon to break the law, send spam, attack the platform, probe other shops, resell the service without permission, or upload malware. Do not store card PAN/CVV in notes or product fields. We do not store full card numbers; Paystack processes those payments.
8. Mobile apps
The Android and iOS apps are licensed, not sold. Offline sales sync when the device is back online. Conflicts or delays can occur if the same stock is sold on two devices. You need a compatible device and your own internet service.
9. Availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, and third-party networks (hosting, email, Paystack, mobile money) can fail outside our control.
10. Termination
You may stop using Qellon and request account closure. We may close or limit a shop for breach of these terms, unpaid invoices, or legal risk. After closure we may retain records required for tax or fraud prevention, as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Qellon and its operators are not liable for lost profits, lost stock, incorrect tax filings, or indirect damages. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Courts in Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
